Monster Persona-User AU Info

vampirethiefIn this AU, persona users who awaken to their personas become monsters or youkai. In this Ren's case, he turned into a vampire when he awakened to his persona.
It starts out mostly the same, but it differs in Ren's awakening scene. When Ren tried to intervere with Shadow Kamoshida beating Ryuji up, one of the shadow guards stabbed him with a sword, then leaving him be to bleed to death.
While he was laying dying, Arsene talked in his head, convincing him to not give up and that trying to save that woman back then wasn't a mistake. He becomes reborn as a vampire and his first meal is a couple shadows. Which is enough to keep Ren from attacking Ryuji from hunger.
Other than the others transforming as well, it mostly remains the same.
Destroying the brain will kill him.
Mona - Nekomata
Ryuji - Zombie
Ann - Werecat
Yusuke - Kitsune
Makoto - Werewolf
Futaba - Satyr
Haru - (Plant) Nymph
Akechi is a Crow Tengu, but uses a special bracelet to hide his appearance from even other monsters.
Later on, Sumire, then known as Kasumi, also awakened to her persona as well. She also became a vampire.
Maruki - Some kind of Djinn. Sort of like a genie but not bound by a master (unless you count his persona as his "master").
Toshiro - Tanuki
(Currently unsure if Strikers is part of his future, despite it being considered part of the vanilla timeline, but if so, Zenkichi would be a werewolf.)
Powers: Aside from his persona and wild card abilities (as well as the Third Eye ability from the God of Control), he does have a couple of abilities as a vampire.
- Floating: At the start, he could only float if he was asleep or angry/upset enough. Now he can control it but can't really use it to fly.
- Bat form: In the Metaverse (and most likely Tartarus and the TV World if he were to ever go there), he can turn into a cartoon vampire bat. The bat form wears a small mask like his mouse form (when he got mousified), and the nose is heart-shaped. He can't talk while in this form.
- Faster healing: He can heal slightly faster than humans, though it depends on how severe the injuries are for him to heal. Drinking blood can help as well.
